Joliette, Quebec

Joliette is a town is southwest-central Quebec, Canada on the Rivire l'Assomption and is the seat of the Regional County Municipality of Joliette. It was founded as L'Industrie by businessman Barthlemy Joliette. According to the 2001 Statistics Canada Census:
