Johann Gottfried Bernhard Bach

Johann Gottfried Bernhard Bach (17151739) was the fourth son of Johann Sebastian Bach. Born in Weimar, he was educated in Leipzig. He served as organist in Mhlhausen and later in Sangerhausen, beginning in 1735, but in 1738 he abandoned a career in music in order to study Law in Jena.
