Joel Quenneville

Joel Quenneville (Born: September 15, 1958 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada-) is a Canadian former defenceman and current head coach in the National Hockey League. He is currently head coach of the Colorado Avalanche. He was drafted in the 1978 NHL Entry Draft, Second Round, Twenty-first Overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs. He has played for OHA Windsor Spitfires, AHL New Brunswick Hawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils, Hartford Whalers, AHL Baltimore Skipjacks, Washington Capitals and AHL St. John's Maple Leafs. He has also been a player/assistant coach for St. John's, head coach for AHL Springfield Indians, assistant coach for Quebec Nordiques and Colorado Avalanche and head coach for St. Louis Blues.
