Jhagadia

Jhagadia Taluka has a town called "BHALOD" on Narmada river bank, accross from Koral town. Bhalod is famous for farming Bananas, Cotton, and sugarcane. Many people regard Bhalodis as being smart, industrious, and hard working. Ledgend has it that Jhagadia used to be a Brahmin town (Bhramins are the priestly caste in Hindu society). However, today many Bhalodi's have ventured out of the Jhagadia to many parts of the world primarily in the United States, Canada, UK, and Africa.
