Jenna And Sunny Han

Jenna and Sunny Han (born 1974) are Korean-American twins who became known when Jenna Han allegedly tried to pull off a scheme where she would assume her sister's identity, breaking a media scandal. Jenna and Sunny Han were close as young children, even hanging out with the same group of friends in high school. But, after graduation, both twins separated for the first time, and their personal differences became apparent. While Sunny went to a Eastern coast university, Jenna went to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she got a job at a strip club. While it is said that she worked as a stripper. she denies that, saying she only worked as a bartender there. According to police records, Jenna Han contacted some teenaged boys and girls when she found out that Sunny was back in California (where the twins grew), to kill her and assume her identity, in order to commit credit card fraud. About five teenagers went to Sunny's room on the indicated day. One of the teenagers had no idea of what was going on, so he was cleared of any criminal doing by the police. The kidnappers and would be killers then supposedly proceeded to gag Sunny as soon as they saw her in the room, and steal all of her personal documents. They awaited for a sign from Jenna whether to kill Sunny or not, but Jenna ordered them to leave. The youngsters said in court that Jenna had told them Sunny had threatened to kill Jenna. Over the next few days, according to police, Jenna used Sunny's cards to buy some expensive goods, actually being caught on-camera by at least one store. Her spending habits helped the police track her down and arrest her. The teenagers who helped her were soon arrested as well. During the trial, Jenna Han denied trying to kill her sister. She began to cry, saying that she loved her sister and could never think of killing her. Sunny Han, suffering from the stress that the situation as a whole brought to her life, had been prescribed some relaxation pills. She attempted to commit suicide so that her sister would not have to go to jail, taking 24 of those pills on one day. She was hospitalized, but released soon after. Jenna Han was ultimately sentenced on several charges of credit card fraud, and given a sentence of 35 years in jail. The teenagers who participated in the incident, except for the one that had no idea what was going on, were sentenced to spend smaller amounts of time at the California penal system. Jenna has made several attempts to regain the closeness she and her sister Sunny used to have, but Sunny, affected by everything, has tried to keep distance between her and her twin sister.
