Jean-luc Lagardre

Jean-Luc Lagardre (February 10, 1928 - March 14, 2003) was a major French businessman. Jean-Luc Lagardre was a Supelec engineer. He began his career in Dassault Aviation. CEO of Matra in the 1960s, he became famous with success in Formula 1 and Le Mans. He later built a large media and defense conglomerate that bears his name. The Lagardre Group is among the largest French enterprises. He owned the Dupr stud farm and horse racing (grey blouse, pink toque) 220 strong. He was the father of Arnaud Lagardre.
