Jawbox

Jawbox was an alternative rock band from Washington, D.C.. Its members were J.Robbins (vocals/guitar), Bill Barbot (guitar), Kim Coletta (bass guitar), and Zach Barocas (drums). They had a minor MTV hit with Savory in 1994. The group formed in 1989 and broke up in 1997. After their split, Robbins formed Burning Airlines, eventually inviting Barbot to join. Barbot and Coletta continued to run DeSoto Records. Barocas became a part of The Up on In.
