Jannes Eidesgaard

Jannes Eidesgaard (born 1951) is the prime minister of the Faroe Islands. He has held that position since February 3, 2004, shortly after his political party, Froya Javnaarflokkur (Faroese Social Democratic Party) became the leader of the new coalition government which was formed after parliamentary elections.
