Jane Metcalfe

Jane Metcalfe is the former president and co-founder, with Louis Rossetto, of Wired Ventures, creator and original publisher of Wired Magazine. Prior to that, Metcalfe founded Amsterdam-based Electric Word magazine. In 1994 she was elected to the board of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. She is a partner, along with Louis Rossetto, in Fora da Imaginaao, an independent investment concern with interests in technology, media, and real estate. Jane is also a board member at One Economy Corporation, which maximizes the potential of technology to help low-income people improve their lives and join the economic mainstream.
