Janani Luwum

Janani Luwum (19221977), was the archbishop of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Boga-Zaire (19741977). Following a note of protest he delivered to dictator Idi Amin, against the policies of arbitrary killings and the unexplained disappearances, he was accused of treason, tried and found guilty. He was later killed while in government custody.
