James Wilson (Australian Politician)

Sir James Milne Wilson (February 12, 1812 - February 29, 1880) served as Premier of Tasmania from 1869 to 1872. He was born in 1812 in Banff, Scotland later emigrating to Australia. He was elected to the Tasmanian Legislative Council on October 18, 1859 and ten years later became the state's premier, serving three years in the post.
