James Stirling (Architect)
James Stirling

) was one of
Britain
's most important
architects
starting from the
1960s
. Stirling was born in
Glasgow
and obtained his architecture degree at
Liverpool University
, but set up office in
London
. He was awarded the
Pritzker Prize
in
1981
. The
Stirling Prize
, a British annual prize for
architecture
since
