James Debarge

James DeBarge (born 1963 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) was an American R&B and soul singer who was one of the charter members of the legendary family group, DeBarge, who became superstars with their 1980s classics "All This Love", "In A Special Way", "Rhythm of the Night" and "Who's Holding Donna Now?". But DeBarge is more famous for marrying pop royalty when he married future music legend Janet Jackson in 1984. The marriage, however, was annulled in 1985 after Jackson told people she couldn't deal with James' drug abuse. James has since retired from the music business after DeBarge's disbanding in 1989.
