Irvine Review

The Irvine Review is a right-wing student newspaper at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in Irvine, California. It was founded in September 2002 by political science student Nathan Masters with the backing of the Collegiate Network and individual donors from the surrounding community of Orange County, California. It prints twice per academic quarter with an average circulation of 3,500 copies. Its existence and controversial articles on such topics as the UCI Cross Cultural Center and reparative therapy for gays has sparked the creation of other alternative student publications, including most notably The Irvine Progressive. The Irvine Review is a subsidiary of The Irvine Review Foundation, which also funds the Irvine Conservative Student Union (ICSU) and other related activities.
