Ipel

Ipeľ (Hungarian: Ipoly, German: Eipel) is a 232 km long river in Slovakia and Hungary, tributary to the river Danube. Its source is in central Slovakia. It flows south to the Hungarian border, and then south-west, west and again south along the border until it flows into the river Danube near Szob. Cities along its course are Balassagyarmat (Hungary) and Šahy (Slovakia).
