Interstate 475 (Michigan)The 16.99 mile Interstate 475 in the U.S. state of Michigan is a bypass route that serves the downtown area of Flint while I-75 passes through the west side of the city. It is known as the U.A.W. Freeway for its entire length, honoring the United Auto Workers labor union, which was first organized in Flint. It was first named the Buick Freeway, but was renamed in 1982-1983. At the same time, the name of I-69/M-21 in Flint is changed from the "Chevrolet Freeway" to the "Chevrolet-Buick Freeway". The southern terminus is at exit 111 of I-75 south of Flint and west of Grand Blanc. The northern terminus is at exit 125 of I-75/US-23 northwest of Flint. External links 75-4 Michigan 75-4
