International Federation Of Netball Associations

The International Federation of Netball Associations, or INFA, is a federation of 39 netball associations from around the world, and is responsible for organising and co-ordinating international netball events and international netball procedures. The INFA organises the Netball World Championships and regulates international matches and series. They are also the adjudicators of questions of discipline, rules, and umpiring. They compile World Rankings of international netball teams following each World Championship. The INFA has successfully lobbied to have netball included as a sport at the Commonwealth Games, and is currently lobbying to have netball introduced to the Olympic Games, where it is already a 'recognised' sport.
