International Federation Of Chemical, Energy, Mine And General Workers' Unions

International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Unions (ICEM) is a global union federation of trade unions. As of 2001, it had 399 member organisations in 108 countries, representing a combined membership of over 20 million workers. The organization represents workers employed in a wide range of industries, including energy, mining, chemicals and bioscience, pulp and paper, rubber, gems and jewellery, glass, ceramics, cement, environmental services and others. The international headquarters of ICEM is based in Brussels, Belgium.
