Implacable Class Aircraft Carrier

The British Navy built two Implacable-class aircraft carriers to succeed the Illustrious-class carriers during the Second World War. Yhey were built closer to the Ark Royal design, rather than the Illustrious design. The two ships built were launched in 1942:
