Ignacio Comonfort

Ignacio Comonfort (18121863 ) was a Mexican politician and military officer. He was born in 1812 in Puebla, Puebla. He participated in the Mexican-American War. He was president of Mexico from December 11, 1855 to November 30, 1857. When Comonfort was president, Benito Jurez was president of the Supreme Court and vice-president of Mexico.
