Humboldt Redwoods State Park

Humboldt Redwoods State Park in Humboldt County, northern California, 30 miles (50 km) south of Eureka, California. It was established by the Save-the-Redwoods League in 1921 with the dedication of the Raynal Bolling Memorial Grove and has grown to over 60,000 acres (243 km²) through gifts to the state. Nearby United States Highway 101 offers easy access to the park with connections to the scenic highway Avenue of the Giants which runs through the park.
