Hugh Hewitt

Hugh Hewitt is a United States conservative radio talk show host, author and blogger. He is also Professor of Constitutional Law at Chapman University. He graduated from Harvard College and the University of Michigan Law School. His nationally syndicated radio show is heard in more than 70 cities nationwide. Hewitt received three Emmys during his decade of work as co-host of the PBS Los Angeles affiliate KCET's nightly news and public affairs show Life & Times. He is also a weekly columnist for The Daily Standard, the online edition of The Weekly Standard. Some have criticized Hewitt for being unrealistically optimistic about the Bush administration & blogosphere. Leading up to the 2004 election Hewitt predicted that President Bush would win 40 states, but Bush took only 31. His book In, But Not Of : A Guide to Christian Ambition inspired many other evangelical Christians to start their own blogs. http://www.hewittinspired.blogspot.com/ Hewitt has positioned himself as one of the leading mainstream media personalities advocating the growing importance of blogs http://www.slimindustries.com/blogorated/.
