Hsinchu Science Park

Hsinchu Science Park (Chinese: 新竹科學園區) was established by the government of the Republic of China on December 15, 1980. It is located in both Hsinchu City and Hsinchu County, Taiwan. A total of 370 high-tech companies, mainly involved in semiconductor, computer, telecommunication, and optoelectronics industries, have been established in the park at the end of December 2003. There is also a science-themed amusement park in the area.
