The Home Depot Center is a multiple-use sports complex located on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson, California, the focus of which is a 27,000 seat soccer-specific stadium. It is the home of the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer and the United States National Soccer Team. It was the site of the 2003 Women's World Cup final. It hosted the 2003 MLS All-Star Game and 2003 MLS Cup. In 2005, the HDC will also be the home to the C.D. Chivas USA Major League Soccer expansion team, owned by and named after the Chivas de Guadalajara soccer team in Mexico. The HDC also hosts the Los Angeles event in the World Sevens Series, an annual series featuring national teams in the Sevens version of rugby union. The HDC staged the Supermoto event for the 2004 X Games. In addition to the soccer stadium, the Home Depot Center features a 20,000 seat indoor track and field facility, with a velodrome, and a 13,000 seat tennis stadium. The complex reportedly cost $150 million to complete.
