Hivites

The Hivites were one of the peoples displaced by the Hebrew conquest of Canaan. They may have consisted of Kadmonites, Kenites, Kenizzites, and Rephaims. It is probable that they were a branch of the Hittites. They subsequently disappeared as a people, although there were still Hivite communities at the time of King Solomon.
