Hillmorton

Hillmorton is an area of the town of Rugby, Warwickshire, it comprises most of the eastern half of the town. Hillmorton was historically a village in its own right, and was mentioned in the Domesday Book, at one time a market was held in Hillmorton, and remenants of the old village green still remain. In the 20th century, the growth of Rugby subsumed Hillmorton, and the area is now mostly residential.
