Heth

Heth (חֵת, Standard Hebrew Ḥet, Tiberian Hebrew Ḥēṯ) the second of the eleven biblical Canaanite nations. After a misidentification of the land beyond the Euphrates (which the Assyrians called Hatti) with Nesili-Hittite, the Hittite nation was named after him -the name sticking before the identification could be reversed.
