Heredity (Journal)

Heredity is a scientific journal concerned with heredity in a biological sense, i.e. genetics. It was founded by Ronald Fisher and C. D. Darlington in 1947 as Fisher formerly the editor of the Annals of Eugenics (now the Annals of Human Genetics) moved from his post at Rothamsted to Cambridge. From 1996 the publishing was taken over by Nature Publishing Group (who publish Nature).
The Journal of Heredity is an entirely distinct publication. It was founded in 1903 and is currently published by the Oxford University Press.
