Henri Herz

Henri Herz (January 6, 1803January 5, 1888) was an Austrian pianist and composer. Herz was born in Vienna and as a child studied with his father and Daniel Hnten. In 1816 he entered the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied under Victor Dourlen and Antonn Reicha. Herz traveled worldwide, including tours in Europe, Russia, and the United States of America.
