Hattie Jacques

Josephine Edwina Jacques (February 7, 1922 - October 6, 1980), better known by the stage name Hattie Jacques, was a British comedy actress born in Sandgate, Kent. Jacques is best remembered for her numerous appearances in Hancock's Half Hour and the Carry On films, and for her long-running TV partnership with Eric Sykes.
