Hard-boiled Wonderland And The End Of The World

Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (世界の終わりとハードボイルド・ワンダーランド, sekai no owari to hādoboirudo wandārando) is a novel by Haruki Murakami. It was originally published in 1985. The novel alternates between chapters between a semi-cyberpunk story involving a human data processor, and a story taking place in a walled city with no apparent outside.
