Hamamelidales

The Hamemelidales are an order of dicotyledons in the Cronquist system, including the following families: These served as the prototype for the subclass Hamamelidae. In newer classifications, these families are scattered among various other orders of dicots, most notably the Saxifragales, but with the Platanaceae transferred to the Proteales.
