Half Crown

The half-crown was a denomination of British money worth two shillings and sixpence, being one-eighth of a pound. Because it didn't convert to an exact decimal value (actually 12.5p), it was withdrawn in 1970 in preparation for Decimal Day on February 15, 1971.
