Hms Prince (1788)

HMS Prince (1788) a 98-gun 2nd rate ship of the line which fought at the Battle of Trafalgar. The name Prince was common usage for the ship's actual name Prince of Wales. At Trafalgar, the Prince destroyed the French ship Achille. This was the second of seven ships to bear the name Prince of Wales and was broken up in 1822. Prince (1788), HSM
