Group Data Scheme Society

The Group Data Scheme Society (GDSS) is a non-profit Irish cooperative formed in June 2004 to assist and support communities around Ireland establish and run Group Data Schemes community-owned, community-run networks. Modelled on group water schemes and making use of the government broadband scheme funding, they provide a local broadband service where none is otherwise available.
