Green Carnation

Green Carnation is a Norwegian progressive metal (more "progressive" than "metal") band, the creation of ex-Emperor bass player Tchort and formed in 1990. The band took a long hiatus after recording a demo, and their first album, Journey to the End of the Night, wasn't recorded until 1999. 2001 saw the release of Light of Day, Day of Darkness, notable because it consists of only a single, 60-minute song. In 2003 Green Carnation released A Blessing in Disguise.
