Graphicconverter

GraphicConverter is computer software that displays and edits computer graphics files. It also converts files between different formats. For example, one can convert a GIF file to a JPEG file. Note that when converting between lossy formats, information will be lost in the process. As of early 2005, GraphicConverter could import about 175 file types and export 75. Images can also be re-sized, rotated and inverted, and minor editing tasks performed, and the software supports standard Adobe Photoshop plug-ins and hence TWAIN. GraphicConverter is shareware that runs on a Macintosh and is maintained by Lemke Software. GraphicConverter is available in over a dozen languages including English, French, German and Spanish. The program has a long history of supporting the Mac platform; it is often bundled with new Mac purchases. It is very flexible and supports nearly every graphics format that users are likely to encounter, from files produced on all platforms.
