The Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for Children has been awarded since 1994. Prior to 1994 the award was combined with the award for Best Musical Album for Children as the Grammy Award for Best Album for Children. Years reflect the year in which the Grammy Awards were handed out, for music released in the previous year.
