Goshute

The Goshutes are a Native American tribe that once numbered 20,000. Only 500 remain. About 125 belong to the Skull Valley Band of Goshute Indianshttp://www.skullvalleygoshutes.org/ located in Utah. About 30 live on an 18,000 acre (73 km²) reservation in Utah. Their chief claim to fame is as a proposed location for an 820 acre (3 km²) dry cask storage facility for the storage of 40,000 metric tons of spent nuclear fuel.
