GorgeousGorgeous is a 1999 Hong Kong movie, directed by Vincent Kok. Gorgeous is a romantic movie with Jackie Chan and Shu Qi as the two main romantic leads. This movie was Jackie Chan's attempt to break out of his stereotypical role. Plot Synopsis Shu Qi is the country girl type, who finds a message in a bottle that moves her to find the original writer in the big city. Upon reaching the city, she tracks down the owner of the message in the bottle who turns out to be a homosexual man mourning the loss of his lover, played by Tony Leung Chiu Wai. Hilarity ensues and she meets Jackie Chan's character, a rich billionaire playboy type who falls in love with her. There are further plot developments concering a rival of the billionaires.
