Glen Or GlendaGlen or Glenda or I Lived 2 Lives is a movie filmed in 1953, starring its director Ed Wood, Bela Lugosi, and Wood's then girlfriend Dolores Fuller. The movie, a fictional documentary approach to transvestitism, was semi-autobiographical in nature; Wood himself was a transvestite, and fans of this movie state that Wood filmed it as a plea for tolerance. The story goes that around the time the movie was made, the world's first successful sexual reassignment operation was performed, and a Hollywood producer wanted a movie to exploit the headlines.
