Glamis

Glamis is a small village in Angus, Scotland and is home to the famous Glamis Castle. The Queen Mother had strong associations with the castle. One can view a quilt in a room kept for her. There is also a museum of days past with a Minister's parlor; a schoolroom; a laundry; and an agricultural area. The castle hosts various events throughout the year, notably the Proms evening, when people traditionally turn out with picnics ranging from the small to the elaborate to hear the proms.
