Giovanni Velluti

According to Panati's Extraordinary Endings of Practically Everything and Everybody, Italian castrato Giovanni Velluti is regarded as "last of the great castrati." He was born in 1781 and he died in 1861 without leaving any recordings. His final stage appearance was in 1829.
