Gerald Winrod

Gerald B. Winrod was a preacher from Kansas. He formed a group called the 'Defenders of the Christian Faith' during the 1920s which opposed Evolution and supported Prohibition. Winrod held far-right points of view, earning him the nickname 'The Jayhawk Nazi'. Winrod was charged with sedition during World War II for his pro-Hitler stances (see Great Sedition Trial).
