Geoff Murphy

Geoff Murphy (born 13 June 1946) is a New Zealand film director, writer and assistant director Murphy is best known for his 1981 film Goodbye Pork Pie. Most of Murphy's films are fimed on location in New Zealand, for instance in Goodbye Pork Pie he used the entire country for his locations. Murphy was also a founding member of the New Zealand musical cooperative Blerta.
