Gavin Strang

The Right Honourable Gavin Steel Strang (born July 10, 1943) is a British politician, and Labour member of Parliament for Edinburgh East and Musselburgh. He had been an MP since the 1970 election, and was a minister under Harold Wilson and James Callaghan. He was Minister for Transport from 1997, and sat at meetings of the Cabinet, but was sacked in 1998.
