Comment This film attacks the old and settled conventions of horror cinema in a subtle but effective way. Casting Chris Sarandon as the vampire lead is a subtle way of adding the sexuality that most vampire films lack as well as emphasizing all the peculiar ambiguities inherent in a successful vampire film. Other media Fright Night was adapted into an effective comic-book series by Now Comics. External links
