Freeform Radio

Freeform radio is a radio format where the DJ is given total control over what he or she plays. The first freeform radio program was Nightsounds on KPFA-FM in Berkeley, California, DJed by John Leonard. WFMU in New York/New Jersey is the longest running freeform station in the United States.
