Fortune (Magazine)

The magazine Fortune was founded by Time Magazine co-founder Henry Luce in 1930 at the outset of the Great Depression. It was considered America's first business journal. Fortune is now part of the media conglomerate Time Warner. Fortune publishes three influential lists of companies: as well as an annual list of the wealthiest individuals and families in the world.
