Force Field Analysis

Force field analysis provides a framework for looking at the factors (forces) that influence any given situation. It looks at forces that are either driving movement toward a goal (helping forces) or blocking movement toward a goal (hindering forces). Developed by Kurt Lewin, it is a significant contribution to the fields of organizational development and process management. It is a method for analysing change and is used in change management.
